Dr. John Jones graduated from the University of Iowa. He received his Podiatric Medical Degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco. He completed his residency in podiatric surgery at the State University Health Science Center, where he currently maintains a teaching appointment in the department of orthopedics.
Dr. Jones is board certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatry Surgery, is a fellow in the American College of Foot Surgeons and the American College of Hospital Podiatrists, and is a member of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. He is well known and respected throughout the state by his colleagues, and early in his career was recognized by the State Podiatric Medical Association as "Young Practitioner of the Year" for demonstrating exceptional involvement in the profession.
Dr. Jones has been active in both state and local Podiatric Medical Associations, holding various officess and committee chairmanships. He has also served on and chaired many local hospital committees.
